The University of Nebraska System has decided to move forward with full implementation of YuJa as our video content management solution replacement of VidGrid. VidGrid will remain available for use through the Spring 2023 semester.

YuJa is an all-in-one video experience to securely create, manage, discover, and collaborate video content across any device.

For a period of time, both YuJa and VidGrid are available for use.

Benefits & Features

VidGrid features: 

  • Full service 99% ADA compliant closed captioning completed by real people at VidGrid 

  • Edit videos in their library after it has been uploaded 

  • Add a “blur” effect in editing mode to hide unwanted areas 

  • Replace videos with updated versions without having to change the URL or embed code 

  • Resize or remove the video window even as you record 

  • Choose the area of the screen they want to capture 

  • Better manage permissions for specific groups 

  • Closed Captioning on videos upon request.
